This simple tequila Old Fashioned cocktail recipe is enhanced with sweet, oak-aged Patrón Añejo Tequila. Savour the slight twist of tequila instead of whisky with hints of orange and bitters.
AÑEJO OLD FASHIONED
Rocks glass
4cl PATRÓN Anejo Tequila
l/2cl Simple Syrup
1 dash Bitters
Garnish with an Orange Wheel/Zest
Method
Over a Rocks glass, use a vegetable peeler to take off two strips of orange zest, making sure to express the oil into the glass. Add Patrón Añejo Tequila, simple syrup and bitters. Add ice, the biggest ice cubes you can find, and stir.
PATRÓN AÑEJO
Patrón Añejo is handcrafted from the finest 100% Weber Blue Agave and is carefully distilled in small batches at Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. It's then aged in a combination of French oak, Hungarian oak and used American whiskey barrels. A tequila perfect for sipping.
